TRAFFIC IMPACT ANALYSIS (TIA)

Traffic impact studies (TIA) aim to evaluate, quantify, and delimit the impacts generated by the implementation of a project (trip generation developments) or other modifications in the roadway system. Through a detailed diagnosis of vehicle and pedestrian generation, distribution, and paths, and using reference manuals and tools, we propose mitigating measures capable of maintaining the quality of traffic and transportation operations. Several performance measures can be used in the analysis, depending on local requirements, including traffic delay, level of service, road safety, or environmental impacts, such as emissions or noise.
