Marcela Alves Lomasso

Marcela holds bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais and in Transportation Engineering from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, through a dual degree program between the two institutions. Since 2019, she has worked in the field of traffic and transportation engineering consulting, with experience in French and Brazilian companies.

She began her professional career as an intern in transportation sector companies in France, contributing to projects focused on bus prioritization at signalized intersections and the energy transition in the French context. In Brazil, also as an intern, she participated in railway pre-feasibility studies and the development of urban mobility plans.

In 2021, she joined the technical team of Infraplan Consultoria as a traffic analyst, a position she held for two years before assuming the role of technical coordinator. Since then, she has led various studies in the area, with an emphasis on traffic microsimulation models applied to urban and highway contexts, and on technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies (EVTEA).”
