Silvestre is a civil engineer with a focus on transportation and a master\u2019s degree in transportation from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He is a managing partner at Infraplan Consultoria and has over 40 years of experience in the field of transportation engineering, holding managerial and directorial positions.<\/p>\n
He served as project manager and advisor to the president of the Brazilian Urban Transport Company (EBTU). He was also a manager at the Metropolitan Urban Transport Company of Belo Horizonte (Metrobel), director of traffic for the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte at the public agency Transmetro, and director of development and public transportation at the Transportation and Traffic Company of Belo Horizonte (BHTrans). As a founding partner of Tectran, he led the company for over 25 years until its acquisition by the French multinational Systra in 2015. He remained as a director for two more years and continued as a consultant until 2019. In 2018, he founded Infraplan Consultoria and has been conducting projects across the country.<\/p>\n
Silvestre has extensive experience in managing traffic and transportation engineering projects throughout the national territory, as well as in various foreign countries.
